THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minnesota, USA - February 17, 2009

Electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corporation, recognized by design engineers as having the industry's broadest selection of electronic components available for immediate shipment, and TE Connectivity Measurement Specialties (NASDAQ: MEAS), a global designer of sensors and sensor-based systems, announced today that the companies have entered into an agreement for the worldwide distribution of Measurement Specialties products.

Measurement Specialties products stocked by Digi-Key include its force, piezo, position, pressure, and vibration sensors. Slated to be featured in future print and online catalogs, these products are now available on Digi-Key's global websites.

Mark Larson, Digi-Key president and COO, said, "With certainty that our customers will find these quality products to be of significant interest, we are very pleased to partner with Measurement Specialties and add this company to our lineup of valued manufacturers."

Glen MacGibbon, Measurement Specialties Group vice president, commented, "We have been working with Digi-Key for the past several years on our core pressure products and have been extremely impressed with its 'reach' to design engineers.
