Display Modules with Kyocera Monochrome Displays

Azumo's reflective display modules featuring a Kyocera monochrome LCD work with the sun instead of against it. This module leverages ambient light, using less power and gaining visibility in bright light. With Azumo's ultra-thin light guide film, the display can be illuminated in all conditions at 90% less power draw than a backlight.

The Azumo front light evenly illuminates the display with a single LED without suffering the issues of hot spotting often found in backlights. The simplicity and durability of the display module's design make the entire unit intrinsically safe, making it particularly well-suited for use in harsh conditions and high-use industrial and medical devices.

Using simple I/F and connectivity, the display module with Kyocera reflective LCD can work with nearly any device. Azumo's front light guide is 5x thinner than alternatives and comes pre-bonded with the Kyocera display, forming a perfect fit. The flexible front light panel can be folded away: no need to design around unnecessary bezels. This makes Azumo and Kyocera's reflective displays versatile, powerful, and efficient in all conditions.
