It comes preloaded with BlueCreation Melody Smart software, and is ideal for developers who want to quickly and cost effectively integrate Bluetooth® Low-Energy (BLE) functionality into their products or develop standalone sensors or accessories. The BC118 includes the ability to upgrade firmware over the air and can operate in standalone mode or with the addition of a co-processor through a simple interface.
