SMD Piezoelectric SoundersTaking advantage of extensive acoustic, mechanical design technology and high performance ceramics, Murata Electronics has developed SMD piezoelectric sounders that suit the low profile design requirements of today’s electronic equipment. Available in a surface mount package size of 12mm x 12mm x 3mm with two different frequency and temperature ranges for use in consumer as well as automotive electronics.

  • 4KHz or lower 2KHz frequency versions available (for the hearing challenged)
  • Wide operating temperature range of -40°C to + 85°C available for extended requirements
  • Excellent sound pressure level (dB) of 70 min. (3Vp-p, 2KHz, square wave, 10cm) or 75 min. (3Vp-p, 4KHz, square wave, 10cm)
  • Can be driven off of the Micro Controller's output port
  • Low power consumption
