NTAG® 5 Family: NTAG 5 link I²C Bridge
NXP's I²C bridge is NFC forum compliant and offers 52048 B of user memory and 256 B SRAM
NXP's NTAG 5 product family is an NFC performance enhancer consisting of three product variants: switch, link, and boost. This product family offers configuration of PWM over NFC, an I²C master interface, direct access to sensors without the need for an MCU, and the possibility of a tiny antenna for small devices. These products offer longer range, scalable security, and an I²C slave interface as well. They are fully compliant with NFC forum specifications and are based on the ISO/IEC 15693 standard.
Optimized for sensor-driven applications, this highly integrated NFC bridge creates a link from the device to the cloud for a secure, future-proof way to read and power sensors instantaneously.

- Energy harvesting with configurable output voltage up to 30 mW
- Scalable security: 32-bit/64-bit password protection with or without 128-bit-AES mutual authentication
- Three configurable user memory areas
- ECC-based, re-programmable originality signature
- NFC silence to disable NFC interface
- Low power consumption: less than 6 μA standby and less than 0.25 μA hard power-down
- Wide temperature range: -40°C to +85°C
- Extensive product support (development board, application notes, software, and hands-on training)
- NTAG 5 link is also available without AES security and I2C master functionality (refer to NTP5312 part family)
