PT2001 Programmable Gate Driver IC
NXP's programmable gate driver IC features encryption for microcode protection and integrated end-of-injection detection
NXP's PT2001 is a programmable gate driver IC for precision solenoid control applications, which makes the component very flexible and relieves the main microcontroller from the intensive task of the actuator control.
The chip integrates four microcores used to control five external MOSFET high-side pre-drivers, seven external MOSFET low-side pre-drivers, a DC-DC converter, integrated end-of-injection detection, current measurement, and diagnostics.

- Battery voltage range: 5.0 V < VBATT < 32 V
- Pre-drive operating voltage up to 72 V
- Five high-side pre-drive PWMs with capability up to 100 kHz
- Seven low-side pre-drive PWMs with capability up to 100 kHz
- All pre-drivers have four selectable slew rates
- 12 selectable, pre-defined VDS monitoring thresholds
- ISO26262 compliant development
