XP2U-001 USB Type-C® Test Socket

Omron's XP2U-001 test socket is used for testing electronic devices that have a USB Type-C I/O connector. The XP2U-001 features Omron's electroformed components (EFC) process technology and a unique high-hardness material for high durability (200,000 operations), eliminates a locking mechanism, and requires a low insertion force. The XP2U-001 also features a connector plug with a soft plastic tip and a floating structure that help minimize damage to the connector of the device being tested, since the tip is made of a soft material and is flexible. It is equipped with a USB Type-C 3.1 compliant connector and an installation hole that enables attachment to equipment. Testing is accomplished by simply inserting the connector into the USB Type-C connector on the electronic device. The XP2U-001 can connect to the testing equipment by a one-touch connection to the USB Type-C connector.
