InnoSwitch3-TN

Power Integrations' InnoSwitch3-TN devices are ideal for both isolated and non-isolated designs. They deliver excellent standby and less than 5 mW no-load consumption and can be used in a 5 V single-output power supply with two positive-output rails, or with both positive and negative rails. Excellent load and cross-regulation performance means that InnoSwitch3-TN ICs can eliminate the post regulators typically required for multi-output designs in appliance applications.

Like all InnoSwitch3 family devices, InnoSwitch3-TN ICs eliminate the need for an optocoupler since the 725 V primary MOSFET primary and secondary flyback controllers are coupled using Power Integrations’ proprietary FluxLink™ high-speed communications channel. Safety-rated FluxLink communication ensures reliable synchronous rectification and accurate output constant voltage and constant current. Comprehensive safety features include output overcurrent and overtemperature protection. The small MINSOP package and low number of external components required for a full PSU design make the InnoSwitch3-TN ideal for compact implementations.
