Imagine devices automatically switching things on or off, dimming screens, adjusting volume, switching from headphones to speaker, going into power saving mode, and more, all automatically just because the device was picked up or put down, or headphones were taken in or out. Not to mention that it can also distinguish between human presence and object presence. This is the next step for wearable technologies and the possible applications are endless.
