This leads to a 5 W reduction in an 11 kW onboard battery charger (OBC), corresponding to a +15°C reduction of the operating junction temperature.

The important thermal stress reduction addresses temperature, the first contributor, to increase the reliability of heavy-duty applications such as OBC, charging stations, and renewable energy converters.
