EPDM vs Silicone Cold Shrink: Shrink Ratio Comparison

EPDM cold shrink and Silicone Cold Shrink both have their place but there is one glaring difference between the two: shrink ratio. When it comes to using cold shrink for RF weatherproofing the choice is obvious: choose the higher shrink ratio of Gamma's Silicone Cold Shrink which creates a watertight seal as a barrier against the elements. Before you purchase, especially if you are using cold shrink as RF weatherproofing, make sure you know if it is EPDM or Silicone Cold Shrink.
