Isolated DC/DC Converter 200 W Quarter Brick - 0RQB-D0W12L

Bel Power Solutions’ 0RQB-D0W12L is an industry standard footprint quarter brick DC-DC converter which is equipped to run from a railway input voltage range and produces 200 W of 12 V regulated output power.

The 0RQB-D0W12L module is a fixed frequency DC/DC converter that uses synchronous rectification to achieve an optimum thermal performance and high conversion efficiency. The regulated and 2250 V_DC isolated 12 V output comes with a baseplate for easy heatsink mounting and thermal management. The 50 V to 136 V input range covers the typical 72 V, 96 V, and 110 V railway range as well as providing for the 43 V to 156 V transient condition. The conformal coated PCB, environmental ruggedized module is European standard EN51055 system compliant and is also UL/CSA60950-1 2nd edition +A2 approved.

The board mountable 0RQB-D0W12L is very compact at only 62 mm x 37 mm x 15 mm (2.45" x 1.45" x 0.59") and comes with active back bias limit, input UVLO, OCP, SCP, output OVP, thermal shutdown, on/off control, and differential remote voltage.

High Power in a Small Form Factor

• The 0RQB-D0W12L module is an isolated DC/DC converter that delivers 200 W in a compact quarter brick. The module can supply energy to the following standard railway applications: 72 V_DC, 96 V_DC, and 110 V_DC.
• This module meets the railway extended voltage requirements for 43 V_DC to 56 V_DC and 136 V_DC to 156 V_DC. Fully functioning for 100 ms operation and undamaged operation for 1 s.

Reliable Application

• 0RQB-D0W12L is an efficient module and its power dissipation is relatively low. In railway applications, the module could be dissipated through the aluminum case
• Small wings (16 mm high) guarantee the perfect convention cooling dissipation. The customer can use standard aluminum profiles available in the market. Under the above conditions, the module delivers 200 W from -40°C to +90°C.
