PowerPAIR MOSFETs

The synchronous Buck step-down DC/DC converter relies on the performance optimization of two different power MOSFETs. Depending on the requirements of the specific application, Vishay offers PowerPAIR products with precise combinations of two devices. This removes the guesswork required when selecting individual MOSFETs for this purpose.

In addition to the optimized pair of TrenchFETs which offer a unique electrical performance benefit in terms of high efficiency and low power loss, the PowerPAIR package concept takes care of the device interconnects internally. This reduces the inductance between the MOSFETs and provides a convenient pinout for compact PCB layouts.

The PowerPAIR 6x5F is a further enhanced version of the PowerPAIR package from Vishay that provides even better system efficiency through lower R_DS(ON) and lower Inductance while at the same time providing improved heat transfer through a large PCB ground terminal.
