The DZ02 series connector features SMT co-planarity that results in the reduction of contact points; the fewer contact points are an advantage for avoiding insufficient soldering. By pressing the contacts against the insulator wall, the DZ02 positions the contacts close to the SMT area in order to stabilize the contact position.
