All SPM series modules include comprehensive protection. Over-current and short-circuit protection prevent damage due to overload conditions. Input under-voltage lockout ensures the module starts up and shuts down cleanly, even if the input voltage fluctuates unexpectedly. Over-temperature protection prevents damage if there is a sustained overload, or if the ambient exceeds the maximum ratings. The modules are rated for the full temperature range from -40 to +85°C ambient, and are qualified according to IPC9592B standards.
