Eliminating the blocking capacitors allows the ADG9xx parts to maintain their low insertion loss (0.5dB) all the way down to DC. In addition to providing a smaller, more efficient design solution, the ADG9xx family is less power-demanding, consuming less than 1µA over all voltage and temperature conditions. The ADG9xx also has higher ESD performance than many GaAs solutions.
