Main features of the product include: full USB 2.0 standard compliance, automatic switching between low and full speed as dictated by the peripheral device, fully isolated 5V 500mA power available from each of the downstream ports, reinforced agency-recognised safety isolation for 250 VAC IT systems, medical safety recognition pending for 2 x MOOPs or ‘Measures of Operator Protection’, and comprehensive fault protection. Note that the module is limited in data rate to 12 Mbps by the data isolator chipset available.
