Typical lead times for a traditional implementation are 12-13 weeks, and this is usually driven by the precision processing of the crystal thickness for higher frequencies and an intensive manual manufacturing flow. The PureEdge™ solution, using the standard off-the-shelf fundamental mode crystal and silicon, has typical lead times of 4-6 weeks. This manufacturing process uses all the advantages of the silicon manufacturing flow which eliminates some of the labor intensive manufacturing steps of the traditional crystal manufacturing process. The silicon flexibility offers devices with output frequencies ranging from 50 MHz to 700 MHz.
