3-Phase UPS Systems Slide 24

Tripp Lite's Parallel Cabinet panels operate very simply. Breakers can be set to route power from multiple UPS units to a common parallel output bus to connect to the load. The cabinets, along with paired input distribution circuit breakers to each individual UPS unit, will allow for the complete isolation of each UPS unit from the combined paralleled system. The addition of the system level maintenance bypass further assures that the connected equipment load can be powered during any and all service and maintenance operations. The system level bypass can be selected for parallel design, increased capacity, or increased redundancy. All Tripp Lite Parallel Cabinets with System Level Maintenance Bypass utilize a key switch interlock configuration (Kirk Key Interlock) as an additional safety measure to increase the system reliability and minimize sequencing errors during maintenance and service operations. Contact DigiKey's Applications group for additional details and methods to configure parallel E3 Series UPS systems.
