As with any installation, it is important to get familiarized with common equipment that may be connected to the 3-Phase UPS. The Main Distribution Panel: serves as the main entry point in the facility for utility power. It can be connected directly to the UPS System or directly to a series of distribution panels. The Distribution Panels: further distribute power away from the main panel (or other distribution panels). It also can be connected directly to the output of the UPS System to distribute power to different equipment loads. The Transformer: transforms the voltage, raising or lowering it depending on the needs of the equipment it is connected to. It is important to look at the nameplate of all electrical equipment within the installation to see if the voltages are compatible with the 3-phase UPS system.
