Shown on this slide is the host side memory mapping. The host subsystem starts at address 0x0000 0000 with on-chip boot ROM, whereas Stellaris® series devices start with on-chip Flash memory. This impacts the boot procedure and requires the NVIC to be remapped after boot. The µDMA controller can transfer data to and from the on-chip SRAM and peripherals. However, because the Flash memory and ROM are located on a separate internal bus, it is not possible to transfer data from Flash memory or ROM with the µDMA controller.
